Mountainous Ilia is preparing to host one of the most special and symbolic sporting events of the year. On Sunday, September 6, 2026, the Unity Race 2 – The Unity Race, a race that connects Andritsaina, Linaria and Ancient Olympia through a common route with a message of cooperation, participation and human connection.
The event is the culmination of HEYDAY Unity Symposium 2026, which will be held from September 4 to 6 at the International Olympic Academy in Ancient Olympia.
The Unity Race 2 routes
Participants will be able to choose between two different routes:
48 kilometer route
Andritsaina – Ancient Olympia
The long route starts from historic Andritsaina at 14:30 and leads runners to the heart of the Olympic land, crossing unique landscapes of the Ionian countryside.
6 kilometer route
Linaria – Ancient Olympia
The short route starts at 18:30 and is open to everyone, offering the opportunity to participate to residents, visitors, families and sports friends.
