The Sunday, March 1, 2026, Andritsaina becomes a point of meeting, dialogue and perspective.
In Andritsaina Public Historical Library the information day is hosted HERIT ADAPT – for the future of sustainable tourism in our region, an event dedicated to what unites us:
👉 our land, our heritage and our right to a sustainable tomorrow.
The HERIT ADAPT is a European program (Interreg Euro-MED) that does not come "from outside" to speak theoretically, but to listen, synthesize and co-formulate solutions together with local communities. Its aim is to protect monuments and historical sites from the pressures of climate change and mass tourism, turning challenges into sustainable development opportunities.
For us, this conference is not just a presentation.
It is an open invitation to participate.
As a local initiative, we have already submitted our own proposals and a comprehensive plan for the recovery and sustainable regeneration of Andritsaina. A plan based on:
- in the cooperation of residents,
- in supporting tourism professionals,
- in the connection of culture, nature and modern life,
- and in preserving the identity of our place without concessions.
The conference functions as a «"living laboratory"»: open discussion, exchange of experiences and practical ideas on how Andritsaina can stand strong, attractive and sustainable – not only for visitors, but first and foremost for its people.
Because the future is not planned in our absence.
It is planned with us.
