Olympic Rally 2026 in Ilia Three-day race near Andritsaina

Ilia is preparing for one of the most exciting events in Greek motorsports.

The 46th Olympic Rally, which is the opening match of Panhellenic Dirt Rally Championship, will be held March 27, 28 and 29, 2026, bringing drivers, teams and motorsport fans to the heart of the Olympic land.

The race is organized by the Pyrgos Olympic Racing Automobile Club (AOLAP) with the co-organization of Region of Western Greece, of Western Greece Regional Development Authority, of Municipality of Pyrgos and his Municipality of Ancient Olympia, while being supported by important local bodies.

For those who love rallying but also for those who want to live a powerful experience in the nature of Ilia, this is a a unique opportunity to combine the spectacle of the race with an excursion to the beautiful landscapes of the area - very close to the historic Andritsaina.

The match schedule

The three-day competition begins on Friday, March 27 with the administrative and technical control of the crews in Xystri Theme Park in Pyrgos.

The Saturday, March 28 the established will be carried out shakedown, that is, the test track of racing cars, from 10:00 to 14:00, on the way Luka – Lala, approximately in length 2.9 kilometers.

That same evening, at 21:00, will be held ceremonial presentation of the crews and the start of the race in the Central Square of Pyrgos (Saki Karagiorga).


The special routes

The race consists of 6 special routes total length 86.34 racing kilometers.

The main specials are:

Number – Klondia

about 100 cm long 15.77 km

Foloi

about 100 cm long 13 km

These two routes will take place three times each, while the last special will also function as Power Stage, giving extra points in the championship.

The crews will start on Sunday morning from Pyrgos and will move towards the special stages, passing through unique natural landscapes of Ilia.

The Service Park of the match will be at Xystri Theme Park, where the teams will carry out technical work on the cars between the special stages.

The finish will take place in the afternoon of Sunday, March 29, again in Pyrgos Central Square.

Route recognitions

Recognition of special routes is permitted:

  • Sunday, March 22 10:00 – 18:30
  • Thursday, March 26 10:00 – 18:30
  • Friday, March 27 10:00 – 18:30
  • Saturday, March 28 08:00 – 14:30

Up to are allowed on each special stage six passes, while reconnaissance should only be carried out in the correct direction of the route.


A racing spectacle amidst the nature of Ilia

The Olympic Rally is one of the most beloved races in the Greek championship, as it combines fast dirt tracks, forests, technical sections and unique landscapes.

The special routes pass through areas of particular natural beauty, offering spectacular passages and intense emotions to spectators.
