And between us, when you have one of the most important ancient temples in Greece a few kilometers from Andritsaina and such a musical evening is organized there, it's one of those times you say: We're not losing this!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Thursday, August 20, 2026, at 9:00 PM<\/strong>, Babis Tsertos and Nadia Karagianni come to the Temple of Apollo Epicurius in Vassa<\/strong> for a special evening dedicated to the memory of Simon Karas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And the best part?; Admission is free.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For those who love traditional, rebetiko and good old Greek songs, they probably don't need many introductions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE Babis Tsertos<\/strong> has served rebetiko, folk and traditional songs for decades, while the Nadia Karagianni<\/strong> It moves with equal ease between demotic, island, rebetiko and folk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But even if this type of music isn't first on your playlist, there's something about this particular night that hardly fits into a simple "concert" description.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because it's one thing to listen to music in a room and another to be there August, evening, on the mountain, next to Apollo Epicurius<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those of you who have visited Vassa already know that Epicurius Apollon has a completely different atmosphere than what one expects before arriving there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is located in the Arcadian landscape, at an altitude of over 1,100 meters, far from the noise and lights of the cities. And this isolation is part of its magic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now imagine the same landscape an August evening, with music<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We think it's worth living.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And especially those of you who are in these days in Andritsaina and the surrounding villages<\/strong>, save the date. It's a great opportunity to spend a different summer evening in our country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And a little advice from us: Don't be fooled by August.<\/strong> In Vassas, there can be a noticeable temperature difference at night compared to the lower points in the area, so a light coat in the car is not a bad idea at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
