Mountainous Ilia is preparing to host one of the most special and symbolic sporting events of the year. On Sunday, September 6, 2026, the Unity Race 2 \u2013 The Unity Race<\/strong>, a race that connects Andritsaina, Linaria and Ancient Olympia through a common route with a message of cooperation, participation and human connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event is the culmination of HEYDAY Unity Symposium 2026<\/strong>, which will be held from September 4 to 6 at the International Olympic Academy in Ancient Olympia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Unity Race 2 routes<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Participants will be able to choose between two different routes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

48 kilometer route<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Andritsaina \u2013 Ancient Olympia<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The long route starts from historic Andritsaina at 14:30 and leads runners to the heart of the Olympic land, crossing unique landscapes of the Ionian countryside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6 kilometer route<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Linaria \u2013 Ancient Olympia<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The short route starts at 18:30 and is open to everyone, offering the opportunity to participate to residents, visitors, families and sports friends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
