{"id":3621,"date":"2026-05-21T18:04:05","date_gmt":"2026-05-21T15:04:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/andritsaina.site\/?post_type=new&#038;p=3621"},"modified":"2026-07-08T16:06:05","modified_gmt":"2026-07-08T13:06:05","slug":"arxaia-olympia-ilida-parastases-2026","status":"publish","type":"new","link":"https:\/\/andritsaina.site\/en\/new\/arxaia-olympia-ilida-parastaseis-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"Ancient Olympia \u2013 Elis performances: Elis among the 95 cultural events of the summer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you think that Ilia in the summer is only about beaches, it&#039;s probably time to discover it... differently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After the announcement of the program <strong>International Festival of Ancient Olympia 2026<\/strong>, it is also the turn of <strong>36th Festival of Ancient Elis<\/strong>, proving that Ilia is evolving into one of the most important summer cultural destinations in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is no coincidence that this year the <strong>Ministry of Culture<\/strong> announced <strong>95 cultural activities<\/strong> in archaeological sites and museums throughout Greece, with Ilia having a dynamic presence through two important institutions.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The 36th Festival of Ancient Elis<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From the <strong>July 17 to August 28, 2026<\/strong>, the <strong>Ancient Theater of Elis<\/strong> is hosting the festival for the 36th year, with the particularly fitting motto:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u00ab&quot;The Festival of our hearts!&quot;\u00bb<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And looking at the program, we understand why.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is not aimed only at fans of ancient drama.
