How will you get there (starting from Andritsaina)?
Araklovo Castle: Head towards the village of Minthi, where the castle is located on the eastern side of the mountain of the same name. The route is approximately 20 kilometers.
Ancient Theater of Platiana: Head north towards Platiana, about 15 kilometers from Andritsaina. The journey takes about 30 minutes.
Krepakore Castle: Continue northeast for about 10 kilometers. Access may require walking on a trail, so be prepared accordingly.
Tip: Put on your comfortable shoes, fill your water bottle and get ready for a day full of walking, history and… adventure! If you get lost, don’t hesitate to ask the locals – they will not only direct you, but they may also reveal the secret to the most delicious local dishes. Stop in one of the villages along the route for a meal and remember: all the deliciousness lies in the simplest things!
